Posted November 17, 2018 06:02:20 This month, developers in South End, Indiana are trying to buy a 4,000-square-foot condo that was built in the late 1800s for $1,5 million.
The property was originally built by the American Hotel and Condominiums and now belongs to the South Bend Development Corporation, a nonprofit that manages land for new development.
Since then, developer Mike Deveney has built an apartment complex, the South End Condo, on the property.
The project includes 1,400 apartments, and Deveneys hopes to have completed a condominium tower by the end of the year.
While Devenes development is one of a handful of affordable apartment projects in South America, it’s one of the rare examples where the land was actually used as a home.
“The development of the property is part of a larger process that’s been taking place over the past decade to revitalize South Bend,” Devenys said.
“It’s part of what has been taking the city by storm in the last two or three years.”
The land itself was acquired in the 1960s and the city of South Bend owns it.
The city says that in order to build the complex, it had to buy and clear lots for the construction.
In an interview with the Journal Star, Devenez said the condominiums in South Padre Island, Florida, are similar to the condos he plans to build in South Beech Park, Ohio.
This is what we have, and the property has been the site of numerous development projects over the years,” Deveys said of the South Padres Condominium.
Devenez has been developing apartments and condominium projects for over a decade, but this is the first time he’s been able to buy land on which to build his projects.
After buying the land, Deveez said he’s had to dig into his bank account to pay off the mortgage.
With the purchase of the land for the condos, he said the land is “ready to go,” but he said that there’s still work to do.
He plans to work on the site as soon as possible and hopes to open up the site for development in 2018.”
The building will have its own identity,” Deavenes said.
According to a city website, the land will be available for development by mid-2017.
When Devenés first proposed the development in 2007, he didn’t anticipate the construction of condominium towers in South Boca.
Devensey said it was the “most difficult project to pull off.”
The Condo Tower at the South Baco site is expected to be completed by the middle of 2018.
